Intent
Early Years Implementation
Children in Early Years learn through a balance of child-directed and adult-initiated activities.
The timetable is carefully structured so that children have direction teaching in phonics, English and Maths each day.
Children are provided with time to engage in exploration throughout the experiences that are carefully planned to engage and challenge them in the provision. The curriculum is planned for both inside and outside of the classroom and equal importance is given to learning in both areas.
Outdoor Learning
Our EYFS curriculum provides a nurturing, joyful and inclusive environment where every child is valued as a unique gift from God and encouraged to flourish. Through fun, meaningful play and hands-on experiences, children are inspired to explore the world around them with curiosity, confidence and wonder. We believe there should be no barriers to learning, and we support every child to achieve their full potential by developing important skills in communication, creativity, independence and problem-solving. Our curriculum encourages children to build strong foundations for lifelong learning while growing in kindness, resilience and respect for others.
