Intent

We live in a world of amazing beauty, infinite complexity and rigorous challenge. Geography is the subject which opens the door to this dynamic world and prepares each one of us for the role of global citizen in the 21st century.

At St Teresa’s, we are committed to fostering children’s curiosity about the world around them and their place as citizens within it. Through our Geography curriculum, we aim to equip children with knowledge about diverse places, people, resources, natural and human environments. We want our children to develop a deep understanding of the Earth’s key physical and human processes and how these processes are interconnected and interdependent.
