Our Catholic Life

Our Catholic Faith

At St. Teresa's, as a Catholic school, Christ is at the centre of everything we do. We do this by integrating our Gospel values and the teachings of the Catholic Church into every aspect of learning, teaching and school life. In our school, our children’s journey into adulthood will also be a journey of faith.

All staff and members of the Governance Committee share in this sense of belonging to the family of God and so work together to instil this feeling of love in all pupils, parents, carers and stakeholders of the community of St. Teresa's.

Porchlight Collecting for the Homeless December 2025

During Advent we collected many items for the homeless people in our local community. Our school family thought about people less fortunate than themselves; helping the people who needed us the most.

''Bear one another's burdens, and fulfill the law of Christ''

Galatians 6:2

Children in Need 2025

We raised £200 for Children in Need - the Avilites shook their buckets on the school gate. Thank you to everyone who donated to this worthy cause!

Harvest Collection for Local Food Bank October 2025

Our school family brought in lots of food to give to the local foodbank. The Avilites carried the gifts to St Teresa's Catholic Church to add to their collection.

''Whoever is generous to the poor, lends to THE Lord and He will repay him for his deed''

Proverbs 19:17

Macmillan Coffee Morning September 2025

The Avilites prepared a focal point for prayer at our McMillan Coffee Morning. Lots of parents and children shared cake together, remembered loved ones and raised money to help others.
